Rustam Minnikhanov visits Eastern Economic Forum Exhibition

On September 3, the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Eastern Economic Forum exhibition today.

The Tatarstan booth showcases key indicators of the region's economic and industrial performance, as well as investment opportunities for countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Among the republic's key partners is China, which ranks as an absolute leader in Tatarstan's foreign economic ties, which bilateral trade turnover exceeded $3.3 billion last year.

Meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov with the Prime Minister of Vietnam on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit gave a new impetus to cooperation with Vietnam. At the end of last year, trade turnover amounted to approximately 63 million US dollars.

Overall, Tatarstan is building systematic cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
