Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit to Vladivostok

On September 3, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Vladivostok to participate in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

This year's forum features delegates from over 70 countries, including distinguished guests, namely the President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Prime Minister of Mongolia Nyam-Osoryn Uchral, Deputy Prime Minister of Myanmar Nyo Saw and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang.

Tatarstan has set up an exhibition booth at the forum, where participants can learn about the economic and industrial potential of the region.

The Eastern Economic Forum is one of the key venues for fostering cooperation between Russia and the Asia-Pacific region.

In June this year, Kazan hosted the Russia–ASEAN Summit, marking the 35th anniversary of the establishment of relations with this organization. Following the summit, the parties adopted four documents: the Kazan Declaration, the Comprehensive Plan of Action for the Implementation of the Strategic Partnership for 2026–2030, a Joint Statement on Cooperation in Energy and a Joint Statement on Cooperation in Culture.
