Rustam Minnikhanov hands in state awards on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of Russia and the republic at a ceremony held on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Kazan Kremlin.  

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that honoring Tatarstan residents on the event of celebrating the Day of the Republic has become a good tradition and congratulated all participants with the holiday. “On this day we traditionally celebrate the outstanding contribution of the people of Tatarstan to strengthening the status of the republic as a backbone region of Russia. Everyone present in this hall is a shining example of a conscientious attitude towards work, dedicated service to Fatherland and love to the native land,” he stated. 

“Today, despite all difficulties and challenges, Tatarstan maintains economic sustainability and continues work to increase quality of life of people,” the Rais of the republic emphasized. 

“We are grateful to the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian Government for overall support and assistance. Of course achievements of the republic will be impossible without creative labour of all residents of Tatarstan. Each of you is making a substantial contribution,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. 

Having mentioned defenders of Fatherland and specially welcoming participants of the special military operation, the Rais of the republic handed in 53 state awards.
