Rustam Minnikhanov discusses issues of cooperation of Tatarstan with the Kingdom of Bahrain

On 26 August, speaking at his meeting with the Minister of Oil and Ecology of the Kingdom of Bahrain Doctor Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Daina on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Forum-2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the republic and Bahrain have established warm relations. “Our positions are very close. And your support is very important for our country,” he said. 

The Rais of the republic told the Bahrain Minister about promising projects of the republic in partnership financing and noted that currently it is necessary to look for new ways of expanding trade and economic ties, paying special attention to the oil branch. 

In his turn Doctor Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Daina thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for a warm welcome and passed him words of greeting from the King of Bahrain. “It is very important for us to have a direct cooperation and we are ready to give any possible assistance to develop our bonds,” he said. 

The parties of the meeting also considered issues in the sphere of heavy oil refinery and ecology.
