Rais of Tatarstan: Gazprombank is a reliable partner of Tatarstan

On 26 August speaking at a business breakfast of the Gazprombank dedicated to “Technological leadership as a driver of development of regions” and held on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Forum-2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the Gazprombank is a reliable partner of the republic and one of the large players in the banking sector of the republic, the partnership with which spans for more than 15 years. 

“Today the bank is not a loan and financial organization but a full-fledged technology partner of our enterprises. Among its largest clients it has our leaders, whose projects make it possible to ensure technological breakthrough and investment attractiveness,” he said.

The Rais of the republic noted that together Tatarstan and the bank develop Islamic financing, implement project in the sphere of biotechnologies, AI and automation. “Today’s topic fully reflects our cooperation in developing branches of industry through efficiency, innovations and ecological friendliness,”  he emphasized and noted participation of the bank in social and charity programmes as well as in sport and cultural events.

Participants of the business breakfast discussed further development of the oil, gas and petrochemical complex, including areas with the greatest potential for manufacturing high value-added products, as well as promising intersections between oil, gas and petrochemical industries and the bioeconomy.
