Rustam Minnikhanov visits Arsk region

On 25 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came on a working trip to Arsk region where he got acquainted with harvest progress, looked round an exposition of local producers and had a meeting with heads of farms, investors, heads of rural settlements and active public members.

Speaking at the meeting, the Head of the region Almaz Khisamutdinov reported that farmers have harvested 48 per cent of crop areas with the average yield of 38 centners per hectare.

The regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov, who also accompanied the Rais of the republic during his trip, informed that Arsk region takes an active part in programmes of supporting agribusiness and rural territories.

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov noted good work of the region in supporting families of participants of the special military operation and sending the humanitarian aid. He informed that work is currently underway on the nest year budget and it is planned to maintain on programmes aimed at supporting rural and agricultural development.

Later the same day the Rais of the republic visited the dairy complex, the construction of which started in October 2024 and two cowsheds for 600 cows each and a small milking unit for 300 cows have already been put into operation. It planned to put into operation a maternity and sanitary unit for 450 heads and a cowshed for 550 heads of livestock in November of the current year.
