Rais of Tatarstan looks round social facilities in Vysokaya Gora and talks to local farmers

On 25 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov went on a working trip to Vysokaya Gora region where he, accompanied by the Head of the region Ravil Khisamutdinov, inspected a number of social facilities which underwent capital overhaul. 

Thus he was shown a renovated building of the public-administrative center which houses the Civil Registry Office, the Council and the Executive Committee of the Krasnoselskoye rural settlement, the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and the Guardianship and Trusteeship Sector. 

Then Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the Central House of Culture after it capital overhaul and an exposition of local producers located in front of the House.

At their meeting on the same venue the Rais of the republic and heads of farms, investors, heads of rural settlements and active public members of Vysokaya Gora region discussed current situation in the fields. 

Speaking at the meeting Ravil Khisamutdinov reported that winter crops harvest has been completed by 50 per cent and tomorrow farmers will start harvesting spring crops and continue forage conservation. 

The regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov, who also accompanied the Rais of the republic during his trip, informed that 60 per cent of crops have been threshed currently in the republic and 2.5m tonnes of grain have been collected. He said that ten more days are needed to complete the harvest and recommended local farmers to use state agriculture support measures more actively. 

In his turn Rustam Minikhanov emphasized that it is necessary to support all kinds of farmsteads and step up work to increase cattle numbers. He also recommended opening industrial sites for creating jobs and retaining young people in the region. In conclusion he thanked for joint work and informed that all state programmes in Tatarstan will be maintained.
