Rustam Minnikhanov and Sergey Sobyanin visit the Adymnar-Chally gymnasium and give appraisal to results of introduction of the Moscow electronic School in Tatarstan

On 20 August during their working trip to Naberezhnyye Chelny, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the poly-lingual gymnasium №59 “Adymnar-Chally”, where they looked round the school, got acquainted with concept of its work and inspected created conditions in the canteen, the ceremonial hall and the swimming pool.

In the school library Rustam Minnikhanov and Sergey Sobyanin had a meeting with teachers, children and their parents, at which they discussed results of the introduction of the Moscow Electronic School (MES) system in the educational institutions of the republic.

Sergey Sobyanin told that the MES, which is a united digital educational platform, ensuring automation of education processes for students, pedagogical work of teachers and informational interaction with parents, was developed for about ten years. “Today it is one of the largest in the world and has most advanced services – it is one of the kind in the state system,” he said and added that 16 options have already been implemented at the suggestion of teachers and students.

The regional Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin reported that today all compulsory schools of the republic are connected to the MES, which was introduced into the state information system ”Electronic education of Tatarstan” in 2023.

It is planned to launch the MES services in 100 secondary vocation education institutions of the republic and currently there are more than 512 thousand schoolchildren, more than 955 thousand teachers and about 92 thousand higher school students and their tutors registered in the system, he said.

On top of that in 2026 it is planned to implement an online system for ordering enrollment certificates and creation of a database of gifted children based on their results in Basic State Exam, Unified State Exam and Olympiads to map out their future development paths, the regional Minister told.
