Rustam Minnikhanov meets Consul General of Iran in Kazan

On 18 August in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan Davud Mirzakhani who, having been in office since 2023, is completing his diplomatic mission in Kazan. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the republic attaches big importance to interaction with Iran within the framework of Russia-Iran relations. He thanked Davud Mirzakhani for his big contribution into the development of cooperation of Tatarstan and Iran and wished him success in his further career. 

At the meeting the Rais of the republic handed in the Medal “100 Years of the Establishment of Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” to the Iranian Consul.
