Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening a Miras boarding school for boys in Apastovo

On 14 August during his working trip to Apastovo region, the Rais (Head ) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a Miras boarding school for boys of the pubic charity fund Yardam-Help designed to accommodate for free 40 residents and four caregivers at a time. The education programme is designed for four years and is aimed at children aged 12 to 17, who will study spiritual and cultural heritage of the Tatars and will have in-depth study of Tatar language, elective study of Arabic language as well as spiritual upbringing. The students will receive their general education at the Apastovo Secondary General Education School.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated its participants with the school opening and expressed his gratitude to all those who took part in its construction.

In conclusion of his visit to the school, the Rais of the republic looked round school classes, teachers’ offices, dorms, the laundry and technical facilities.
