Rustam Minnikhanov inspects educational institutions in Tukay region and Naberezhnyye Chelny

On 13 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov went on a working trip to Naberezhnyye Chelny where he is to take part in a regional August meeting of workers of education and science. Before the meeting the Rais of the republic visited the children’s recreation camp “Sledopyt (Tracker)” and the family school “We dare to dream!”

At the camp, which was opened in July of the current year after capital overhaul, Rustam Minnikhanov looked round residential facilities, the medical office, the canteen and noted that the camp has all necessary conditions for safe and quality recreation of children and for hosting large events.

As currently “Sledopyt” hosts one of the largest students forums of Tatarstan and Volga region “League Forum”, the Rais of the republic was informed about the projects of the regional youth public organization “The Students League of Tatarstan”, and, welcoming participants of the event, he emphasized: “”The League Forum” is an attraction point of gifted youth not only of our republic but the whole country. Over the years, the forum has become a platform for bringing to life the brilliant ideas of gifted young people and implementing significant social initiatives. The forum has traditionally gathered together the best representatives of the student body. You are distinguished by your sense of purpose, desire to be of service and active participation in socially important events.”

Rustam Minnikhanov told that Tatarstan is one of flagships of youth policy in Russia and attaches close attention to the development of children’s and young people recreation infrastructure. In conclusion of the meeting he handed in the Letter of Gratitude of the Rais of Tatarstan to the Students League of the republic.

Later the same day Rustam Minnikhanov visited a private family school “We dare to dream!”in Naberezhnyye Chelny where he looked round school classes, labs and asked about the children’s educational programmes.
