Rustam Minnikhanov inspects progress of harvest campaign in Sarman region

On 11 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov flew round fields of Sarman region where he inspected progress of harvest campaign and later the same day had a meeting with heads of farms, investors , heads of rural settlements and active members of the region. 

At the meeting, the Head of the region Farit Khusnullin reported that harvest has been completed by 28 per cent with 51 thousand tonnes of grain threshed already with the average yield of 45 centners per hectare. This year work worth 2b rubles is planned for Sarman region under Tatarstan regional programmes and national projects.  

In his turn the regional Minister reported that thanks to investors, who have come to the region, it is planned in increase livestock numbers. At the same time there is a slight drop in small farmsteads, he said. 

The Rais of the republic presented certificates for purchasing milking machines to five personal subsidiary farms keeping five and more milking cows, and stated that the region actively sends humanitarian aid to the special military operation zone. He emphasized that special attention must be given to families of the fallen. 

During his visit Rustam Minnikhanov also looked round a dairy farm with 98 cows which produce 609 kilos of milk daily.
