Rustam Minnikhanov inspects the aftermath of enemy drones attack on Nizhnekamsk

On 10 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived to Nizhnekamsk, which experienced a massive enemy drones attack on industrial and civil facilities of the city.

The Rais of the republic visited the industrial zone where he inspected the aftermath of the drones attack on a hostel which killed nine people.  As previously reported by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigation Committee, a criminal case has been initiated in connection with the terrorist attack.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov looked round a residential house which was damaged as a result of a drone crashing in the nearest vicinity, killing a five-year old girl. Residents of the damaged house have been moved to a temporary accommodation center.

The Rais of the republic talked to residents and gave an errand to local power bodies to glaze the windows quickly so that the residents could move back to their apartments as soon as possible.

He also visited the temporary residence center and the central regional hospital where he visited the injured in the attack. Doctors reported to the Rais of the republic about the condition of each of the injured and he talked to them and wished to get well quickly.

As on 6 p.m. on 10 August, 78 people had sought medical attention. Of these 25 were hospitalized and two are in serious condition the Naberezhnyye Chelny hospital.
