Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan is one the leaders of agricultural production of Russia

On 8 July, speaking at the International Agribusiness Exhibition Agrovolga-2026  at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that for many years Tatarstan has been one the leaders of agricultural production of Russia.

He emphasized that today the agribusiness complex has become a high-tech branch possessing substantial growth prospects. The Rais of the republic noted that Tatarstan agribusiness enterprises not only preserve traditions, but also actively implement modern technologies, raise their efficiency and strengthen the economic capacity of the republic.

‘Today we are commending teams of five enterprises from various cities and regions of the republic, who make a significant contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex through their work. Behind your successes lie a high level of professionalism, dedication to the cause, and love for your native land.  Your painstaking work ensures food security of the country. I am sure your enterprises will serve as an example of successful development and your gained experience will become a foundation for new achievements,” he said and handed in a number of awards of the republic. 

In his turn the Russian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Andrey Razin also handed in branch awards to teams of agricultural enterprises.
