Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the exposition of the Agrovolga-2026 Exhibition and the International Forum of consumers cooperation

On 8 July the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Andrey Razin, the Chairman of the Council of the Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives of Russia Dmitriy Zubov and the President of the International Cooperative Alliance Enrique Guarco   got acquainted with an exposition of the International forum of consumers’ cooperation and the Agrovolga-2026 Exhibition held with participation of various regions of Russia and 31 foreign countries.

At the exposition the Rais of the republic and guests of honor looked round one of the shops which are being opened in the republic by the “Rural Shop” programme, where they were demonstrated modernization of cooperative trade, including renovated equipment, logistics, new standards of merchandise display  and manpower development.

They also looked round a separate exposition of the Tatpotrebsoyuz produce and its Museum and then went to the Agrovolga-2026 large scale exposition which united more than 400 companies from 38 regions of Russia and three foreign states, namely China, Belarus and Turkey and covers practically all key spheres of the modern agribusiness complex. 

At the seeds variety testing site, showcasing around 200 promising varieties and hybrids of cereal, grain legume, forage, oilseed, and industrial crops,  Rustam Minnikhanov familiarized himself with the application of modern agricultural technologies in a real-world production environment.

The exhibition also hosted the 6th "The Beauty of Agrovolga" Regional Breeding Animal Contest and the Championship of the republic in the professional operation of gas-powered tractors.
