Rais of Tatarstan takes part in opening the Agrovolga Exhibition and the International Forum of consumers cooperation

On 8 July, speaking at a ceremony of opening the International Agribusiness Exhibition Agrovolga-2026 and the International Forum of Consumers’ Cooperation” Youth of cooperation: uniting resources for the branch development”  at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We welcome you at the opening of two big events in Tatarstan. I hope they will be very useful for you.”

He also noted that companies from various regions of Russia and from foreign countries are taking part in the Agrovolga, while Russian and foreign consumers’ cooperation organizations have become participants of the Forum.

In his turn the Chairman of the Russian CenterSoyuz (Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives) Dmitriy Zubov added that the forum is dedicated to the 195th anniversary of consumers’ cooperatives of Russia and the 110th birthday of consumers’ cooperation in Tatarstan. “We are very pleased that we were invited to Tatarstan for our dual cooperative celebration, and are holding our anniversary forum on this hospitable land,” he said.

Russian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Andrey Razin noted that the Agrovolga is one of the key exhibition events of the country related to promotion and development of agricultural production and demonstration of new technologies. He also said he is sure that all the days of the exhibition and the forum will be busy and give concrete results to further development of agricultural enterprises.

The Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov and the Chairman of the Board of the Tatpotrebsoyuz Rashsat Shaymardanov also took part in the ceremony, in the end of which Tatarstan, the Centersoyuz of Russia and the Tatapotrebsoyuz signed a trilateral agreement on cooperation for 2026-2030.
