Rais of Tatarstan meets Governor of Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler on the sidelines of Innoprom

On 6 July, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler on the sidelines of the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom in Yekaterinburg, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the region is a strategic partner of the republic. “We have high volumes of mutual supplies of goods and services, as well as robust trade turnover. Your region boasts a developed industrial sector and an exceptionally rich mineral and raw material base. There is every opportunity to expand trade and economic ties,” he said. 

Tatarstan supplies KAMAZ vehicles, tyres, computers, chemical and petrochemical products, medicine and medical equipment to Sverdlovsk region, while imports back pipes, rolled ferrous metals, construction materials, and machine tools from the region.

During their conversation, Rustam Minnikhanov and Denis Pasler discussed an opportunity for increasing deliveries of KAMAZ trucks to industrial enterprises and large construction sites in the region. The Chelny Automaker is ready to make presentations at regional expositions and ensure the trucks maintenance and repairs. 

Rustam Minnikhanov highly praised the organization of the Innoprom Industrial Exhibition and invited the Governor to the ROSTKI and Kazan Digital Week forums, which will take place in Kazan in the coming months.

The parties of the meeting also signed and Action Plan 2026-2030 for implementation of the Agreement  on cooperation between regions which is in action since 2014.
