Rustam Minnikhanov and Anna Tsivileva meet participants of the Time of Heroes Programme

On 1 July at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center ,the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Secretary-Russian Deputy Minister of Defense and Chair of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation for supporting participants of the special military operation (SMO) Anna Tsivileva  met participants of the federal programme “The Time of Heroes” who are passing their training in the republic, studying its system of public and municipal governance and successful practices of the development of territories. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the programme is an important project being implemented with support of the President of Russia. “You as participants of this programme have unique experience and special qualities which today are in high demand in the public governance system. We are grateful to the RANEPA Academy for having chosen Tatarstan as a venue for your internship,” he said and emphasized that the republic is a backbone region of Russia with the developed economy, infrastructure and a favourable investment climate.

“We are ready to share our practices, our experience and developments to strengthen your competencies,” the Rais of the republic said.

He also informed about work done in the republic to support participants of the special military operation and their employment, about the “Batyrlar. Hoers of Tatarstan”  programme and Abilimpiks championship held in the republic for the second time with participation of more than 600 veterans of the SMO from 86 regions of Russia.

In her turn Anna Tsivileva emphasized that  the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation carries out systemic work on providing assistance to veterans of the SMO, including their employment and professional fulfillment, and also organizes various educational events. 

Then participants of the programme told about preliminary results of their internship and highly evaluated work of Tatarstan in comprehensive support of SMP veterans and their families and the social and economic development of the republic in the whole.  They also spoke up several proposal including new measures in accompanying SMO veterans during their employment, further development of the present digital platform “Taking care of our own people”, creation of an interactive exposition dedicated to soldiers of volunteer battalions and a number of other initiatives.
