Rustam Minnikhanov meets a delegation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

On 1 July, speaking at his meeting with a delegation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey headed by the President of the Union Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Union makes an important contribution into the development of business bonds between Tatarstan and Turkey. 

“Tatarstan attaches big attention to the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation with Turkish partners. The republic acts as an efficient link between Russia and Turkey,” he said and emphasized that Turkey is one of the leading foreign partners of Tatarstan with their trade turnover having amounted to 4.5bn dollars US last year. 

The parties of the meeting stated prospects of developing cooperation in the sphere of the automotive and automotive components industry, in machine tool building and metalworking, agribusiness, light industry, tourism, construction and IT. 

Rustam Minnikhanov also handed in the Duslyk (Friendship) Order to Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
