Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of the Grid Company Board of Directors

On 25 June in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Grid Company Board of Directors which considered issues of reliability of power supply to consumers connected to the Company’s electrical networks, results of industrial and financial-economic work, the implementation of the Company’s capital construction plan for the first three months of 2026 and the information about the development of the electric vehicles charging stations infrastructure in the republic.

The Board was informed about the indicators characterizing the electricity supply reliability and their dynamics in the first three months of 2026 and about implementation of measures to decrease the share of technological supply failures. 

In the first quarter of 2026, the volume of electricity transmission services provided to consumers in the republic amounted to approximately 7.6 billion kWh, an increase of 3% compared to the same period of the previous year, it was said,  with 2 600 contracts for technological connection of customers signed during the abovementioned time.

As for the capital construction in 2026, the amount of investments into reconstruction of five facilities of the Company made 2.6bn rubles and substantial amount of finances was also allocated on the reconstruction and building the high-voltage lines and installation of electricity meters, the Board was told.

The results of a five-year project to establish a network of electric vehicle charging stations in the region were presented to the participants of the meeting, covering infrastructure scale, trends in consumption and revenue, and station utilization rates.
