Rustam Minnikhanov: The Leader of the state has given high appraisal to the level of organization of Russia-ASEAN Summit

On 19 June at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, summarizing results of the Russia-ASEAN Summit held in Kazan these days, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “It is a very important event for our country and the largest event for Tatarstan after the BRICS Summit. The holding of a summit meeting between the leaders of Russia and 11 states of the South-East Asia is a great diplomatic victory of our country under the leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a great deal of trust, a great honor and huge responsibility for the republic.”

He emphasized that the Leader of the state gave high appraisal to preparations of events of the Summit and the social and economic development of the republic in the whole.

“All events passed at a high organizational and information-packed level. I would like to thank heads of law-enforcement bodies for ensuring security. Special gratitude to the regional operational headquarters supervised by the Head of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic Shamil Gafarov, to the City Administration and all residents for their patience, understanding and support. Thank you all for your well-coordinated work,” Rustam Minnikhanov added.
