Rustam Minnikhanov meets President-Chairman of the Management Board of the VTB Bank Andrey Kostin

On 4 June, speaking at his meeting with the President-Chairman of the Management Board of the VTB Bank Andrey Kostin on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “The VTB has been our reliable partner for many years. There are 49 bank operating offices in the republic with more than 36 thousand legal entities being their clients. In this sphere your bank occupies the leading position in the republic.”

Today the bank finances projects of developers with the total area of 1.7m square meters and actively supports agricultural producers and SMEs.

“The bank is successfully developing lending programs for physical entities with mortgage lending remaining the main driver of loan sales volume of 187 billion rubles. This is an indicator of trust of our residents in the services and products of your bank,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.

 In his turn Andrey Kostin said: «VTB is increasing its cooperation with Tatarstan and we see the large industrial potential of the republic. Here the largest special economic zone of Russia, Alabuga is already successfully operating, and this year, the Deng Xiaoping Logistics Complex will be fully operational. We will together develop investment projects which expand industrial, engineering and transport infrastructure of Alabuga and other industrial parks of the region.”

In conclusion of the meeting the parties signed an agreement of cooperation between the Government of Tatarstan and the VTB Bank.
