Rustam Minnikhanov attends “The Childhood Festival” in the Kazan Kremlin

On 1 June in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremonial opening of the Children's Festival which is a part of the Summer in Tatarstan project dedicated to the 1 June- the Children’s Day, where he got acquainted with activities proposed to children and talked to young residents of the republic.

In his welcoming speech, the Rais of the republic said: “Dear children, I congratulate you on two events at once, which are the Children’s Day and the start of the Summer in Tatarstan programme.”

He also told that in the morning he visited the Kazan Young Spectators Theatre which is under reconstruction and the big swimming pools complex near the Kirov Dam embankment and said: “Such events in our republic as opening theatres, parks and gardens all benefit children. Today we rejoice with you.”

 “Today, festive events for Children's Day are taking place at various venues in Kazan and throughout the republic. Children and their parents can enjoy lively interaction and have a fun time,” the Head of the regional Unit of the All Russia Movement of the First Timur Suleymanov added.

Rustam Minnikhanov was also shown several projects developed by members of the Movement of the first, such as “The Post of the First. The Cultural Map of Russia”, The School of Kindness" and ”The School Museum. I am proud of my Ancestors” which were awarded grants from the Rais of the republic.
