Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to complete improvement of Nizhniy Kaban Lake Embankment by the Day of the republic – 30 August

On 22 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with progress of work in improvement of Nizhniy Kaban Lake Embankment in Kazan where he and persons accompanying him inspected the improvement areas, assessed the work already completed and what remains to be done within the third stage.

The Director of the Fund “Institute of the Development of Cities of Tatarstan” Nailya Nagumanova demonstrated the master plan and the performance indicators and also told about a project of a multimedia floating fountain to be installed in the center of the lake in front of the new Kamal Theater.

Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand not to slow down the work pace and complete the Embankment improvement by the Day of the Republic – 30 August.

He emphasized that he will personally monitor the improvement work progress and come to the site every month to estimate the volume of work. The Rais of the republic gave an errand to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin to monitor the progress of improvements on a weekly basis.

Nailya Nagumanova also informed Rustam Minnikhanov about options of reorganizing traffic along Marjani Street and about a project for the construction of an administrative building in two versions.

In conclusion the Deputy Chairman of the Kazan Executive Committee Igor Kulyazhev represented a project of reconstruction of a bridge crossing on Tatarstan Street above the Bulak canal.

Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to study the issues of the bridge crossing reconstruction in detail and in the end of today’s tour of the Embankment he learned more about the concept of the development of Embankments systems of Lake Kaban and the Bulak canal.
