Rais of Tatarstan: Zarnitsa instills leadership qualities and a sense of patriotism in the younger generation

On 21 May, speaking at his meeting with participants of the regional stage of the All-Russian military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0"  organized at the sports grounds of Kazan Higher Tank Command School, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that  Zarnitsa instills leadership qualities, a sense of patriotism and the ability to undertake responsibility in the younger generation. 

“Zarnitsa 2.0” is the Russian military-patriotic game of the new modern format using digital technologies held with participation of teams from comprehensive schools and vocational colleges. 

Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the game area, having attended sites for tactical medicine, fire training, tactical games, Family Zarnitsa trials, and more. 

Welcoming participants of the regional stage, the Rais of the republic emphasized that for many years Zarnitsa makes it possible for its participants to study the basics of military affairs and to get acquainted with the exploits of Soviet and Russian soldiers and officers. “Today when our country encounters new challenges and threats this event gains a special meaning,” he said and thanked organizers and mentors who made every effort to prepare the children for the competition. “You do an important and noble thing by raising a new generation of patriots of Russia,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and wished participants of the Game success, self-confidence and outstanding achievements in studies, sports and social activities.
