Rustam Minnikhanov is told about the experience in Kazan in staffing and digital transformation of the capital

On 20 May in the Kazan Executive Committee the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov listened to the presentation of a project, titled "People and Technology: A Unified Agenda for Kazan Digital Transformation" made by the Head of the Office of the Kazan Executive Committee Bulat Aleev.

According to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin the project is related to two spheres - the personnel and digital development of Kazan and its administration, and specialists of the Mayor’s Office have studies the best administrative practices both in the country and the world as well as managerial practices used by large industrial enterprises, banks and other organizations.  This affected key areas such as personnel support – recruitment, training and further development of personnel – as well as digital transformation. “Today digital technologies make it possible for us to make great strides in the interests of our citizens,” Ilsur Metshin said.

In his presentation Bulat Aleev told the Rais of the republic about the municipal governance structure, work carried out to attract young people to the team of the municipal service and attract new employees with their further training and education

This personnel approach allowed Kazan to enter the top 30 of the best employers in Russia according to HeadHunter, the presenter said

He also told about such digital programmes as cybersecurity for residents of the city, the experiment to optimize official transport at the mayor's office, updating electronic document management and using artificial intelligence (AI) to automate routine operations and optimization of work of the integrated call-center (https://my.kzn.ru/companies).

Rustam Minnikhanov gave positive appraisal to work of the mayor’s office in staffing, training specialists and digital transformation of the city and proposed to systematize the existing experience of the capital of Tatarstan in order to then transfer it to other municipalities and districts

“Today Kazan is a good polygon for implementation of the most modern projects. A lot of work has been done, and it is important to continue it in order to transfer the accumulated experience to our other municipalities,” he said.
