CIPR-2026: Innopolis will share its experience in developing the modern education system, training AI specialists and efficient interaction with industry

On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.

Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.

Giving his comments about the upcoming conference, Roman Shaykhutdinov said: ”An important topic for discussion this year is training AI specialists at universities. Together with other participants of the conference we will discuss how to adapt educational programmes to rapid development of digital technologies so that AI specialists are ready to work not in isolation from real tasks, but within specific sectors of the economy. We will also raise a traditional issue of an interaction model of business and IT environment: what is more efficient for corporations – to develop digital solutions within their own closed teams or to do this in partnership with independent IT hubs and federal innovational platforms.”
