Rustam Minnikhanov meets Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev

On 15 May, speaking at his meeting with the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  at the Kazan  Expo Exhibition Center, the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Abdulla ogly Mustafayev  congratulated him with the successful holding of the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum".

In his turn the Rais of the republic expressed gratitude to Azeri colleagues for their interest to the Forum and in the whole to cooperation with Tatarstan as one of the regions of Russia and for the representative delegation which came to Kazan. He also asked to pass his warm greetings to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The parties of the meeting discussed issues of further interaction and implementation of joint projects, and Shahin Mustafaev noted that such events as the KazanForum are very important as they are a good platform for having meetings and exchange opinions but “the most important is the trust and interaction our countries have.”

On the sidelines of the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic world: KazanForum” the Azeri Minister also had a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Alexey Overchuk.
