Rustam Minnikhanov meets a delegation from Egypt headed by Minister of Industry of the country Khaled Hashem Maher

On 15 May, speaking at his meeting with a delegation from Egypt headed by the Minister of Industry of the country Khaled Hashem Maher on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic world: KazanForum” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked his guests for their interest to the Forum and in the whole for the interest to mutually beneficial cooperation.

He emphasized that today it is important to develop joint projects both in economy and in the spheres of culture, science, tourism and others.

“We are interested in cooperation with Egypt,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.

In their turn the Egyptian delegation thanked the hosting party for a warm welcome and noted a good organization of the Forum events.

They informed Rustam Minnikhanov that the delegation represents various branches of economy, culture and education and expressed their hope for further strengthening of the existing ties and said that the interaction will not be limited only by the participation in the Forum but will spread to other joint actions and projects.

The members of the Egyptian delegation also congratulated the Rais of the republic with the Kazan being awarded the status of the Capital of the Islamic world 2026.
