Rustam Minnikhanov flies round fields of Rybnaya Sloboda region

On 10 May, after having flown round fields of Rybnaya Sloboda region and having seen the sowing campaign progress, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with heads of settlements of the region, where the Head of it Radik Islyamov reported that in the current year it is planned to sow 33 thousand hectares, with sowing already completed on 27 per cent of the area.

He also told that today, in parallel with sowing, harrowing and fertilizing of the fields continues and all livestock farms are fully provided with feed.  

Reporting about the livestock numbers, Radik Islyamov said that currently there are nine thousand heads of cattle in the region, including 2 200 dairy cows. He said that the region is planning to stabilize the slight decrease of the number of cattle by building new livestock complexes, some of which are already under construction. The head of the region also noted big work being done in the reconstruction of water supply due to the support of the Rais of the republic. 

The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov informed that despite the difficult year there were no cuts in support for the agro-industrial complex. On the contrary, the number of programs to support private farms increased, he said and emphasized the necessity of stepping up the veterinary security control. 

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov called for more active work on the development of private farmsteads and said: “Despite financial difficulties, we have preserved all programmes and will continue their support.” 

He especially asked heads of settlements to give particular care to families of the fallen participants of the special military operation.
