Rais of Tatarstan takes part in the main plenary session of the “INNOPROM. Central Asia” in Uzbekistan

On 20 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the main plenary session “Technological hubs – the new industrial landscape” at the “INNOPROM. Central Asia” international exhibition held with participation of about 500 companies from Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Azerbaijan and other countries in Tashkent. 

Speaking at the session, the First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Denis Manturov said that 150 investment projects worth 4 trillion rubles have been implemented within the framework of Russian-Uzbek cooperation and especially mentioned the successful experience of organizing industrial parks such as those in Jizzakh and Chirchik. 

In his turn the Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev noted the growth in the number of joint ventures. Today, thanks to regional cooperation, there are more than 3,000 of them between Russia and Uzbekistan.
