Congratulation from the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with Easter

12.04.2026

On 12 April in his address to Orthodox believers the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated them with the Easter and wrote: “Easter calls believers to spiritual transformation, love and mercy. Millions of Christians sincerely try to follow divine commandments – to keep their faith, to work constructively, to live in peace and harmony with others.

This holiday instills hope in people for a better future, which is especially important in our difficult times. It contains the meanings and origins of traditional spiritual values, which we carefully preserve.

In our multinational republic, where all religions are equally respected, Easter is celebrated with great solemnity. This is largely facilitated by the active work of the Tatarstan Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Kazan-Vyatka Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church, which take part in many significant projects.”

In conclusion he wrote: “I am sure that bright Easter will give Orthodox believers new strength to perform good deeds. I sincerely wish you and your near ones peace, happiness, all the best and prosperity!”
