At a plenary session of Russian Venture Forum 2026 Rustam Minnikhanov tells about Tatarstan organizes work with venture projects and innovations

On 9 April, speaking on a plenary session of the Russian Venture Forum “The Technological Leadership – investments into the Future” held with participation of the Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, the Russian Presidential Aid Andrey Fursenko and the First Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Kolesnikov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave high appraisal to projects represented at the Forum Exhibition.

Speaking about the Forum in the whole, he reminded that it has a federal status and thanked Andrey Fursenko, who is one of the Forum founders and Valeriy Falkov, who is the chairman of the Forum Organizing Committee, for their support and told how work with venture projects and innovations is organized in the republic.

“There is a whole system of financial and non-financial institutes of innovative development focused on incentivizing the technological entrepreneurship and technological leadership in our country, including thee special economic zones, industrial platforms and technical parks, which provide necessary engineering, transport and social infrastructure to companies,” he told.

The Rais of the republic also informed about the comprehensive startup facilitation work carried out by the regional Venture and Investments Fund and the grant competition launched by the Tatarstan Fund of Science and Technologies for expanding scientific and industrial cooperation of universities with industrial enterprises of the republic.

He also told about participation of educational organizations in the Russian Strategic Initiative “The University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform” and the Priority-2030 Programmes

“Along with federal support, the republic also utilizes its own resources and capabilities, consistently working to support scientists and innovators,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.
