Rais of Tatarstan has a working meeting with the administration of the Tourism.RF Corporation in Moscow

On 6 April, at their meeting in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to the Russian capital, and the Administration of the Tourism. RF Corporation discussed implementation of the investment project on building a year round resort Kazan Marina in Laishevo region of the republic, in particular preparations of necessary project documents and the future tasks in construction of the servicing infrastructure and resort facilities.

The Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt Company will carry out design surveys for the construction of water supply and sewerage networks, the layout of a yacht marina, and the improvement of the embankment, and the Kazan Marina will become the first center with the full cycle marina for 300 yachts built in the last 30 years.

The tourist territory with the total area of 72.9 hectares will become a new point of attraction in the region capable of  receiving up to 620 thousand tourists a year and creating about 1 900 new jobs.

The tourist flow is steadily growing in the republic with 5.1m people having visited it in 2025, which significantly exceeded forecasts.
