The share of e-utility bill payments in Tatarstan has reached 81.7 per cent

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional  Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.

He reported that the monitoring of the payment discipline for housing and communal services of the population in recent years reveals a trend of low payment collection at the beginning of the year with an increase in the second half of the year. Thus in February 2026 the collection decreased by 0.9 per cent and made 95.1 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Damir Shaydullin also informed that the share of e-utility bill payments has reached 81.7 per cent in the republic.

At the same time the amount of overdue gas debt as of March 1, 2026, made more than 244m rubles which was nearly by 6m rubles lower compared to the same period last year, he said.

The total amount of overdue electricity debt reached about 28m rubles and the heat arrears of managing companies to the Tatenergo Company amounted to 282m665 thousand rubles, the regional Deputy Minister informed.
