Rustam Minnikhanov: During the upcoming anniversary of the reunification of the Crimea and Russia local power bodies should organize appropriate events

On 14 March at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held with all municipalities by videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of errands.

In particular he reminded that next Friday on 20 March Muslims will celebrate the Eid al-Fitr (Uraza-bayram) holiday and gave an errand to heads of municipalities, mukhtasibs of the regional Muslims Spiritual Board together with law-enforcement bodies  to take all necessary measures to ensure public law and order and safety in religious institutions where festive services are held.

As on 18 March Russia will celebrate the 12th anniversary of the reunification the Crimea and Russia, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the Crimea spring demonstrated to the whole world that Russia does not abandon its own people and always stands in defense of historical truth and the rights of its citizens. Reunification of the Crimea and Russia reminds us how to preserve our unity and national identity, how to remember and respects our history and to take care of the future of our great country, he said.

The Rais of the republic also reminded that relations of cooperation and trust have been established between Tatarstan and Crimea, as well as Sevastopol, and humanitarian and cultural contacts are developing, including those with the Bakhchisaray region. “During the upcoming anniversary of the reunification of the Crimea and Russia local power bodies should organize appropriate events,” Rustam Minnikhanov stated.

He also gave an errand to step up measures to prevent hazardous animal infections in the republic as according to the Rosselkhoznadzor there are cases of such infections in neighbouring republics such as Udmurtia and Chuvashia.

“It is necessary to stop unauthorized import of animals and products. The Chief Veterinary Directorate and the Directorate of the Rosselkhoznadzor together with the regional Internal Ministry must step up control over stationary and mobile road patrol posts. I give an errand to the regional Ministry of agriculture, heads of municipalities and agricultural enterprises to ensure closed conditions for keeping animals in farms, as well as disinfection, and prohibit unauthorized access to the facilities,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
