The Rais of Tatarstan hands in Duslyk Order to Oleg Sinyashin

On February 25, on the sidelines of the International Scientific Conference “Dynamic Processes in the Chemistry of Organoelement Compounds,” which is widely recognized by the international scientific community, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part a solemn event marking the 70th anniversary of the Research Director of Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry, Academician Oleg Sinyashin.

Minnikhanov emphasized that Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry is one of the country’s largest multidisciplinary academic institutions, which next year, will mark the 150th anniversary of its founder, the distinguished chemist, a native of Tatarstan Aleksander Arbuzov.

“Throughout its history, the Institute has remained at the forefront of global scientific and technological progress, consistently demonstrating its ability to respond to the most complex challenges of the time. Today it is a powerful research and innovation complex meeting the most stringent modern requirements,” Minnikhanov said.

He emphasized that Oleg Sinyashin headed the Institute for many years and now is its Research Director. Over a ten-year period, Sinyashin chaired the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, contributing to its integration into Tatarstan’s research and education ecosystem.

Minnikhanov also highlighted Sinyashin’s initiative to establish a territorially distinct Center for Academic Science in Kazan, a project aimed at achieving Russia’s national goals in science and technology and already supported at the federal level.

Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Duslyk Order to Oleg Sinyashin for his significant contribution to the development of national science and many years of dedicated work.
