Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting of Energoprom-2026 organizing committee: Over the years, the Electric Power Forum has become a reputable professional platform

On 12 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the organizational committee for preparation and holding the international energy forum “Energoprom” held by the Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev by videoconference Opening the meeting, the Russian Minister reminded that the forum will be held in Kazan on 1-3 April 2026.

Welcoming participants of the meeting, the Rais of the republic stated that over the years, the Electric Power Forum has become a reputable professional platform, uniting representatives of the energy community, industry and science and state power bodies. The forum has confirmed its relevance and sustained interest from the professional community, Russian and foreign companies, he said and thanked Sergey Tsivilev and Russian Ministry of Energy for supporting organization and holding the forum. Thanks to this the forum has reached a new level and today is a federal scale event, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

“The development of power industry, including power engineering, is a priority area for the development of our country. The key objectives of the Energoporm-2026 are expansion of international participation, especially CIS and Asian countries, strengthening the innovation agenda with an emphasis on digitalization and the country's import independence and the development of youth direction. On top of that it is important to raise the forum efficiency by increasing the number of signed agreements,” he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov stated that Tatarstan has sufficient experience and the necessary infrastructure to host events of this level. “We will take all measures to ensure safety. We will also provide broad information coverage of the forum. I am sure working together will allow us to hold Energoprom-2026 at a high level and make a significant contribution to the development of the Russian energy sector,” he concluded.

The regional Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko delivered the keynote address on the preparations for the forum.
