Rustam Minnikhanov: The State Emblem is a source of pride for the entire multinational people of Tatarstan

On 7 February at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the Day of the State Emblem of the republic which was approved in 1992.

He emphasized that the Emblem symbolizes the republic and its main element - The Snow Leopard is well known both in regions of Russia and outside it. “I congratulate everyone with the memorial date. It is one of the important state symbols of the republic and a source of pride for the entire multinational people of Tatarstan,” the Rais of the republic said.

He stated that that respect for state symbols fosters feelings of patriotism and responsibility for one's homeland. “With the coat of arms and flag, our soldiers today defend the security of the Fatherland. Along with the state symbols of the Russian Federation, the symbols of Tatarstan are also present where soldiers of the republic perform their military duty. Both the flag and the coat of arms are always with them,” Rustam Minnikhanov stated.
