At a collegium of Tatarstan Ministry of Land and Property Relations Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to continue to identify abandoned properties and ownerless property, and also to sort out the allocation of housing for orphans

On 6 February, speaking at a collegium of Tatarstan Ministry of Land and Property Relations which discussed results of work of the Ministry in 2025 and set tasks for 2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated participants of the meeting with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry and said:” The service has been established and I think it is very important work. Tatarstan managed to maintain its potential and not to mucker it away. Everything there is in the republic must serve the interests of the republic.”

After a video message of the Head of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) Oleg Skufinsky, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to the administration of the Ministry and noted the most important tasks it is currently facing.

Thus among them he mentioned high level of rental arrears for municipal property, work to identify abandoned properties and ownerless property and said that it is important to work jointly with the Rosreestr to have a complete picture of the owners.

The Rais of the republic separately noted the issue of targeted use and protection of lands and the importance of paying attention to agricultural lands which is the task of the Ministry, municipalities and the Council of Municipalities of the republic.

An equally important issue that should be under constant control of both the Ministry and heads of municipalities is the housing stock for orphans, Rustam Minnikhanov said and gave an errand to analyze the situation with the rapidly growing number of orphans who receive state support in the form of housing.

“I ask the Prosecutor’s office of the republic to analyze this issue. And municipalities also must consider it. Yes there a law and we must comply. On the other hand an orphan who is the owner of a home must also meet all the requirements that exist today,” he said.

Speaking about land property relations, the Rais of the republic stated: “I also appeal to my colleagues from municipalities: everything must be transparent. “

“Yes, unfortunately, there are many people who want to improve their well-being at the expense of municipal and state property.  We must strictly adhere to the laws and regulations that exist today. Everything must be clear and transparent,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and in conclusion thanked Fanil Agliullin for the important work he carried out and continues to do at new territories helping the military participating in the special military operation.  

After having thanked specialists for the Ministry for their work and wishing them further success and all the best, The Rais of Tatarstan handed in a number of state awards of the republic to the most outstanding of them.
