Rustam Minnikhanov meets Director General of the Russian Export Center

On 5 February in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Director General of the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) Veronika Nikishina. 

The REC has opened its representative office in the republic and Svetlana Bobrova who prior worked at the Tatarstan Guarantee Fund has been appointed its CEO.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the support of regional enterprises-exporters and promotion of their produce to the external markets are important spheres in the development of foreign economic work of the republic. “Tatarstan economy is integrated into the system of global economic relations   According to results of 2025 the total export amount of the republic made 10.56bn dollars US. The support tools of the Russian Export Center play an important role in achieving these results. I am confident that expanding our areas of interaction and supporting the implementation of joint projects will contribute to further successful cooperation,” he said. 

In her turn Veronika Nikishina noted the high export potential of the republic and the level of development of partnerships with foreign countries, including the Islamic world. “Taking all this into consideration, the Russia Export Center has opened its representative office in Kazan. This is a long-awaited event for which we have been preparing” she said. 

During her trip to Kazan Veronika Nikishina is also taking part in the All-Russia conference “Made in Russia. Chosen worldwide” held in Kazan from 3 to 5 February with participation of representatives from of 85 export support centers, 50 regional power bodies from 45 Russian entities and 102 SMEs. Participants of the conference discuss results of work of the REC for 2025 and priorities of the national project "International Cooperation and Export”.
