Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) of Sultanate of Oman Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef

On 2 February on the sidelines of the international forum in Oman, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) of Sultanate of Oman Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef who, prior to this appointment, served as the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the country since August 2020.

Speaking at the meeting, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef thanked the Rais of the republic for a visit and for having introduced a Tatarstan delegation.

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov told about operation of the special economic zones of the republic and proposed cooperation. He also offered participants of the forum to get acquainted with the capacity of Tatarstan by taking part in the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic world: KazanForum”.

Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef stated that he will be happy to visit Tatarstan and that he is interested in cooperation. He emphasized that he knows about the Forum and its being supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin and highly appreciates business reputation of Rustam Minnikhanov, calling him a man of his word and iron will.
