As many as 170 equational facilities will undergo capital overhaul at the total cost of 10.5bn rubles in Tatarstan in 2026

On 31 January, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin reported that capital overhaul of nine school in eight municipalities of the republic has started.

He also informed about plans of capital overhaul of social and cultural, hydroengineering facilities and multi-apartment houses within the framework of regional and federal programs, reminding in particular that the largest scale of work will be done in the sphere of education with the plan to overhaul 170 facilities at the total cost of 10bn 529m rubles.

Damir Shaydullin also told about 96 health facilities the capital overhaul of which will cost 3bn 433m rubles, 23 facilities to be repaired at the cost of 1bn 436m rubes in the sphere of youth policy and work to be done in capital overhaul and construction of cultural facilities and by state and regional programmes of the Ministry of Sports, Ministry of Labour, employment and Social Protection, Ministry of Ecology, Ministry of Forestry and Ministry of Agriculture of the republic.

He reported about the progress of implementation of the 706 multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme in 42 municipalities of Tatarstan.
