Rais of Tatarstan meets the Administration of a Saudi Arabia large real estate and development company in Dubai

On 26 during his working trip to Dubai the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abdulmohsin Al Rоssais & Sons Group of Companies Saad bin Abdulmohsen Al Rоssais. 

The Abdulmohsin Al Rоssais & Sons – is a large real estate and development group of companies of the Saudi Arabia which for more than 70 years has been delivering integrated property, investment, development, trade and technology services. 

Welcoming Mister Saad bin Abdulmohsen Al Rоssais, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan attaches great attention to the development of cooperation with Saudi Arabia and stated that by the results of 2024 the Tatarstan-Saudi trade turnover has increased sevenfold. 

“We are interested in further increasing trade volumes and supplying your country with the widest range of products, in particular food and agricultural goods, “he assured.

The Rais of the republic also said that the Tatarstan is the recognized center for the development of contacts between Russia and the Islamic world and as a pilot region on introduction of principles of Islamic banking in Russia it has the AAOIFI Center opened in Kazan. 

“We actively develop Halal industry, introducing standards complying with corresponding world requirements. In this respect interaction with Saudi certification centers is important for us,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized. 

In his turn Saad bin Abdulmohsen Al Rоssais thanked the Rais of the republic for personal meeting and said: “We attach great attention to work with Russia and especially with Muslim republics.  You have great potential, competitive products, in particular those manufactured according to Halal standards.” 

He also informed that he is the Head of the Association of Commerce Chambers of 52 Islamic countries the aim of which is to establish cooperation between Muslim and other countries in trade. 

In the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov proposed the Chairman of the Board of the Abdulmohsen Al-Rоssais & Sons Group of Companies to visit Tatarstan and to take part in the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” to be held in May of the current year and to organize a meeting of Associations of Chambers of Commerce at the Forum.
