Renovated children’s polyclinic opens in Innopolis

On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev, the Acting Mayor of the Town of Innopolis Ildar Khuzzyatov and heads of medical and construction organizations of the republic took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a children’s polyclinic in Innopolis. The new facility more than twice expanded the medical service of the town and also houses the 24 our emergency ambulances unit with a separate entrance for its staff.​

Speaking at the ceremony, Roman Shaykhutdinov emphazised gthe social importance of the project and said: “Today there are 1 540 kids living in Innopolis and it is very important for us to ensure comprehensive medical service in comfortable conditions for them so that they do not have to go outside of the town to Kazan”.

“The opening of the expanded children's clinic is more than just new square meters as it addresses a real problem young families are facing and is an important step in the development of the city's social infrastructure, “he said and thanked the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin for having supported the project and for the attention given to the development of social infrastructure.​

The renovated polyclinic, the facilities of which now include offices of pediatricians, surgeons, neurologists and other specialists, as well as the ultrasound unit and a milk formula distribution point for children under 3 years of age, was expanded by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic with 32.9m rubles allocated on its capital overhaul and equipment.
