Tatarstan Prime Minister introduces the new Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources to its staff

On January 12, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced a new Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin to its staff.

Speaking at the meeting with the staff of Tatarstan Ministry of Ecology, Pesoshin said that the former minister - Aleksander Shadrikov, who has been holding this post since 2018, moved to another job, he was appointed director of the department of state policy and regulation in water resources of Russian Ministry of Nature.

Pesoshin read the Decree of the Rais of Tatarstan appointing Azat Ziganshin to the post of Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan. Prime Minister of the republic added that Ziganshin previously served as the Director General of Tatagroleasing Company and was also a member of the State Council of Tatarstan. Pesoshin emphasized that all environmental problems and issues are well known to Azat Ziganshin, as he conducted environmental initiatives at the legislative level, actively participated in environmental events in the republic. Pesoshin added that he is confident that the experience, knowledge and potential of Azat Ziganshin will be applied in his new post. Tatarstan Prime Minister noted that ensuring environmental safety in the republic is very important and reducing the negative impact on the environment is also relevant.
