Dear Orthodox citizens!

From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on Christmas.

This bright, life-affirming holiday is filled with faith in the triumph of good ideals, moral rebirth and spiritual unity. It inspires hope for a better future, acts of mercy and teaches mutual support, which is especially necessary for all of us in such difficult times.

Based on our traditional values, Christmas, like other religious holidays, promotes peace and harmony in society, fostering a sense of mutual respect and involvement in historical events in representatives of different nationalities and religions. This is especially significant in the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by the Decree of Ruussian President Vladimir Putin.

The past year was marked by a number of important events for Orthodox believers and all Tatarstan residents. The most important of them was certainly a visit to the republic of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill, which included a visit to the revived Kazan Mother of God Monastery, the consecration of a memorial church on the Kazanka River and the laying of the foundation stone for the Resurrection Cathedral in Naberezhnye Chelny. I hope that the new year 2026 will also be fruitful in significant deeds and achievements and that each of us will contribute to the spiritual development of society. I sincerely wish you a Christmas spirit, optimism, happiness, goodness and prosperity!
