Briefing on issues of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of road services and housing and communal services during the holidays held in Tatarstan Government House

On 29 December, speaking at a briefing held in Tatarstan Government House on issues of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of road services and housing and communal services during the holidays, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin said that during the holidays special attention will be given to providing heat supply to apartment buildings. 

“All heat supply and heat network organizations have received certificates of readiness for the heating season which is running normally today. We hope that in the future we will not face the problem of heat supply to consumers, “he stated.

 “All our boiler houses have backup power sources. Some of them run on fuel oil. That is each boiler plant has a backup power source, “the speaker informed and added that the Ministry has organized a 24-hour dispatch service which gives quick response to complaints from citizens, monitors emergency situations and eliminates them.

Damir Shaydullin also informed that during the holidays, special attention will be paid to clearing yards of snow and promptly removing garbage.

In his turn the regional Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Economy Ranis Fayzullin told that road services are also ready for work during the winter period with more than 1 100 units of machinery having been prepared for snow removal and distribution of anti-icing materials on regional roads. He also informed that the anti-icing material has been prepared in full both for regional and federal roads and added: “The plan "Buran" (Snow storm) for interaction between ministries, departments and organizations was approved for rapid response in the event of emergency situations caused by dangerous meteorological phenomena in the winter period which may lead to disruption of traffic in Tatarstan.”

The Deputy Head of Volgo-Vyatsupravavtodor Azat Gataullin told about materials used for anti-icing on federal roads and monitoring the situation on them and asked drivers to be especially careful during adverse weather conditions and strictly observe traffic rules.
