Rustam Minnikhanov hands in state awards of Russia and Tatarstan

On 23 December in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of handing in more than 50 state awards of Russia and the republic.

Speaking to participants of the ceremony, the Rais of the republic said: “According to a well-established tradition, on New Year's Eve we honor the most distinguished Tatarstan residents in the Kazan Kremlin. Today here we have representatives of the republic who are for all of us an example of professionalism, dedication to their work, and honest service to the Fatherland. It is my pleasure to hand in high state awards of Russia and Tatarstan to you.”  

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “Tatarstan is approaching the end of 2025, holding a leading position in macroeconomic indicators and maintaining its role as a key region of Russia. Achievements of the republic would be impossible without support of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Government of the country.  Support of the federal center of our initiatives and projects has become the key to further strengthening economy of the republic, for the self-realization of our citizens and improving the quality of life of Tatarstan residents.”

“This year was marked by the Year of Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the republic has organized numerous events and honoring of veterans,” he continued and added: “It is important to continue to pay close attention to the issues of preserving historical memory, the continuity of generations and the patriotic education of youth.”

“Today in this hall there are people who have achieved success in a wide variety of industries and fields of activity. They are heads and employees of enterprises, oil , industrial and agricultural workers,  representatives of the scientific community, Mass Media, public organizations, financial experts, teachers, doctors, workers of culture and law enforcement officers. They are all united by love to their native land and Fatherland and constant striving for development. With your achievements each of you increases the well-being of our republic and makes a substantial contribution into strengthening the integrity of the multi-ethnic Russian state,” the Rais of the republic concluded and ,having expressed deep gratitude to participants of the ceremony, handed in state awards.
