Rustam Minnikhanov visits Salikh Saydashev museum

On 19 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Culture of the republic Irada Ayupova visited the museum of the composer Salikh Saydashev in Kazan which was opened after reconstruction on 3 December 2025 at a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 125th birthday of the composer.

During the immersive tour round the museum Irada Ayupova told the Rais of the republic that the renovated museum recreates the interiors of 19th-century rooms, depicting the estate life in the second quarter of the 19th century. The exhibition consists of three main halls dedicated to the history of the Tatar theatre, the musical institutions of Kazan and Tatar music of the second half of the 20th century.

Rustam Minnikhanov also talked to the grandson and the grand-grandson of the composer who represent the Saydashevs family today.
